FT: Mallorca 0-3 Barcelona, Raphinha STRIKES! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Raphinha and Lamine Yamal was on target as Barcelona kicked off their La Liga title defense with a 0-3 victory against Mallorca, MySportDab reports.

The home side saw themselves being reduced to nine on the pitch as they were given two red cards before the 90 minutes.

First Half Report 

It was one sided all through the first 45 minutes which Hansi Flick side dominated and got the goals needed.

Barcelona took the lead in the 7th minute after Raphinha wonderful finish which was assisted by Lamine Yamal to make it 0-1.

Mallorca couldn’t make much from their end as they were pushed back a lot to defend and also build going forward.

Ferran Torres netted a beauty in the 23rd minute which turned the tie to 0-2 and with so much time left to be played.

The home side were reduced after Morlanes received a second yellow card in the 33rd minute which automatically turned a red.

Another red card was given again in the 39th minute to Muriqi which decreased the home team further to 9 on the pitch.

Nothing happened again as both teams remained calm all through as they finished the 45 minutes with a 0-2 scoreline.

Second Half Report 

The second half did not produce much talking points as the home side did well enough to hold despite two red cards.

The dominance from the Champions was still there but they couldn’t add to their lead as the game hit 60 minute.

Lamine Yamal scored in the additional minutes of the second half which made things increased to 0-3 with nothing left to play.

Barcelona claimed a 0-3 victory which opened up their 2025/2026 campaign with them looking to reclaim their La Liga title.
