Chelsea are now in a surprise talks to sign Brighton Facundo Buonanotte before the window closes, MySportDab reports.
The World Champions were said to be looking at signing Fermin Lopez after pulling out of Xavi Simons deal.
They are now turning attention elsewhere as they feel other target are a bit complicated for them to sign before deadline.
Chelsea have once again turn to Brighton and Hove Albion to try and sign another of their player this summer window.
According to report from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed talks has been going on between clubs as they aim to reach an agreement.

The move is likely to happen as both clubs share a strong relationship when it comes to doing business over the years.
Talks are still going on with both teams looking to conclude on everything and enable registration for the player.
Facundo Buonanotte is also expected to accept the move despite getting offers from Borussia Dortmund and other clubs who wanted to make a move happen.
