The Black Queens of Ghana won bronze at the WAFCON after beating South Africa 4-3 via penalty shootout, MySportDab reports.
Both teams held themselves so much that it was a close call that dragged on to penalties before a winner was seen.

The 3rd placed match between both Women’s national team was a heated one which was evenly balanced from kickoff.
The Banyana Banyana did well enough to make sure they dominated play and put up more pressure against their opponent.
Both teams came into the third placed match after losing their semifinal against Nigeria and Morocco respectively.
Mthandi goal in the 45th minutes was the only falling point which gifted South Africa an advantage despite many opportunities.
The second half saw a lot happened until Ghana leveler after an own goal from Dlamini in the 68th minutes to made it 1-1 as they pushed forward.
Both sides tried everything possible to turn things around, but it was too close for them to get any breakthrough while the opportunities kept on coming.
They both held on and progressed without any goal until the match dragged on to penalty where the Black Queens secured bronze medal with 4-3 win.
