Pedro Neto DEDICATES Club World Title To Diogo Jota FAMILY!

Pedro Neto was quick to dedicate the FIFA Club World Cup triumph to his best friend Diogo Jota and his family, MySportDab reports.

The Portuguese international played a huge role in Chelsea run in the United States which came to a successful end yesterday.

He had played a hand in the final which saw them destroyed European Champions Paris Saint Germain to win the title.

Before the final, Neto had been grieving the death of his best friend Diogo Jota who died alongside his brother during a car crash in Spain.

According to reports reaching us, the player made a sweet and emotional tribute as he dedicated his success with Chelsea to Jota’s family.

Here Is What He Said:

“I said I would win it for Diogo and Andre. This one is for them and their families, and we are really happy.”

The Blues attacker narrow missed out on winning the golden boot as his three goals was one shy away of getting it done.

However, Pedro Neto gave an exceptional performance as one of the best players during the tournament from the start to finish.

He and other Chelsea players will be looking to get a well deserved rest with them expected to return for preseason very soon.
