Manchester United have signed Bryan Mbeumo in another big catch for the Red Devils this summer, MySportDab reports.

According to football journalist Ross Harwood, United’s £60m plus offer for the Cameroonian forward has been accepted by Brentford.

This offer comprises £50million as transfer fee and £10m plus as add-ons. We reported earlier Brentford weren’t under duress to sell Mbeumo as the player had a year left on his deal till 2026, including a 2027 option.

However, they were open to a transfer exit for the 25-year-old but at the right offer – a £50million plus offer – a demand United have met now.

Mbeumo will become Manchester United’s second signing this summer. Recall new United manager Ruben Amorim secured the team’s first signing under his watch following a £60million deal with Wolves for Matheus Cunha.

Notably, Mbeumo’s signing underscores Amorim’s resolve to overhaul and revamp Man United’s attack going into the next campaign.

None of the club’s forwards could record a double-digit goal tally in the just-concluded Premier League campaign.

Meanwhile, Mbeumo shone bright for Bournemouth in the season, reaching his career-best goal tally in a single season with the Bees.

The Cameroon international scored a staggering 20 Premier League goals, providing seven assists to help Brentford to a top-half finish in the league.

MySportDab understands United had agreed on personal terms with the player for an optimal wage offer in excess of £200,000-per-week and a long contract duration.

He is expected to play a big role as Amorim prepares to turn around United’s dragging misfortunes, heading into the next campaign.
