It was a celebration galore as PSG finally ended their decades-long deadlock on the European scene, MySportDab reports.
The players left no stone unturned, celebrating the magic moment in style with the exuberance and energy it deserves.
Viral Footage of the celebrations shared on social media showed the players and the club’s executives closing ranks to relish the epic moment.
The club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi could be seen in the midst of the players, singing and hopping with excitement.
Desire Doue, who shone bright in the match with a hat-trick of goal contributions, comprising a brace and an assist, was in his elements as well.
Donning black spectacles, the 19-year-old French sensation banged the desk, drumming to victory song by teammates in the dressing room.
He was also seen in another footage twerking hard as the celebration continued.
The team’s second-choice goalkeeper Matvey Safonov was also enraptured in the wave of the celebrations.
The 26-year-old Russian shot-stopper was spotted on top of a table at the center, vibing along with the team (Check Video at the end of this post).
Nuno Mendes, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Ousmane Dembele all joined the celebrations showcasing their playful sides to mark the club’s historical milestone.
From the victory songs, the hilarious dance steps, and the champagne, the players and club’s officials did justice to the big moment.
For context, since Saudi’s 2011 takeover of the club, PSG have always been taunted for being local champions with zero progress on the European stage.
Their biggest challenge was translating their over-a-decade of French league dominance to Europe.
And they finally did it in style at the Allianz Arena, edging out Inter Milan by an implausible 5-0 scoreline – the biggest win margin ever in UEFA club competition final.
Achraf Hakimi, Desire Doue, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu all found the back of the net as the Parisians trounced the Serie A giants by an unimaginable scoreline.
It is indeed a season to remember for the team. They have now won quadruple in the campaign with their players expected to lead the chart for 2025 Ballon d’Or award nominees.
