Full Match Report

The game did not only produce goals, but it also had some talking points mostly in the second half with two red cards.

The home side did well enough by organizing play and taking things to their opponent immediately after things commenced.

Manchester City took the lead through an outrageous goal from Omar Marmoush which came in the 14th minute that made it 1-0.

The goal was assisted by Mateo Kovacic who was impressive in the midfield. Bournemouth did everything possible but couldn’t find anything solid.

Bernardo Silva doubled the advantage in the 38th minute after a good delivery from Ilkay Gundogan which turned the scoreline to 2-0.

There was nothing much both teams could do before ending the first half. They both came for the remaining 45 minutes with different targets.

The match pushed on until the 67th minute when Mateo Kovacic was shown a straight red card by the referee after his bad challenge.

Another red card came in the 73rd minute for Lewis Cook who got sent off and also reduced his side by one player.

Nico Gonzalez scored in the 89th minute which saw things turn 3-0. An additional time goal from Daniel Jebbison ensured the scoreline was 3-1.

Manchester City ended up taking all three points from a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth which pushed them into the 3rd position.
