Enzo Maresca has sent a strong warning about Chelsea’s ambition and target for the Premier League this season, MySportDab reports.
The Blues manager who was earlier looking at the season in a different way, has now turned back on his words.
Enzo Maresca has come out to give a clear message of what he is building with the Chelsea team for the season.
He was also clear that he want to win titles and not just compete on a long term plan before getting his target.
According to report from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed Enzo Maresca comments during his press conference today.

“We said many times the target is the top four. I have made it clear since day one that I’m not here to survive. I’m here to take the club to fight for titles”.
“When we win we have to be humble. When we lose we look like we lack ambition. I want to take this club to where it should be”.
“With the fans with us we can achieve our target. When you can hear the fans behind us it’s a nice feeling.
“We have won our last two home games and with our fans, especially against West Ham, they helped us”.
Chelsea will be going up against Aston Villa this weekend as they would look to bounce back from their poor run of form.
Enzo Maresca target for the season is to ensure he finished in the Premier League top four and many are also eyeing the Conference League as a consolation.
