Barcelona claimed the La Liga Super Cup 2025 title after beating Real Madrid 2-5 despite Szczęsny’s red card, MySportDab reports.

Barca turned things around coming from behind to lift the Super Cup title in an El Clasico final which took place in Saudi Arabia.

The encounter started producing goals very early which was entertaining for the fans who came out in numbers to watch.
Kylian Mbappe put Real Madrid ahead in the 5th minute after a wonderful teamwork effort with Vinicius Junior who made the assist as it turned 1-0.
Barcelona were steered to push more which saw them leveling things in the 22nd minute through an assist from Robert Lewandowski which Lamine Yamal made it 1-1.
Another goal was scored by Barca in the 36th minute from the penalty spot which saw Robert Lewandowski converted to make it 1-2.
The game quickly turned against Madrid as they conceded once again in the 39th minute through a wonderful finish from Raphinha to make it 1-3.
An additional minutes goal from Alejandro Balde who was assisted by Raphinha made it 1-4 as they finished the first half against Real Madrid.
There was nothing important the Los Blancos could do to change the situation coming into the remaining 45 minutes of action.
Real Madrid continued pushing, but they were hit again in the 48th minute after a stunner from Raphinha which made it 1-5 and a brace.
Barcelona was reduced in the 56th minute after a VAR review saw goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny getting a red card.
Rodrygo pulled one goal back in the 60th minute, but it wasn’t enough to cause anything as Barcelona had already won 2-5 against Real Madrid which handed them the Super Cup title.
