James McAtee scored a hat trick as Manchester City thrashed Salford City 8-0 to qualify for the FA Cup fourth round, MySportDab reports.

Manchester City doubled their advantage with another goal in the 20th minute as Divin Mubama finished off an assist from Matheus Nunes which made it 2-0.
Salford City was already 3-0 down in the 43rd minute after a good display saw Jeremy Doku quickly set Nico O’Reilly who increased things to 3-0.
The first half ended 3-0 as both teams went in and came back for another 45 minutes which didn’t stop with the goals flying in.
Salford City were 4-0 behind after another goal in the 49th minute from the penalty spot which saw Jack Grealish making it count.
Manchester City kept on going for more as the game carried on which saw another goal from them through James McAtee who made it 5-0 in the 62nd minute.
Things continued with more goals behind scored as another effort from Jeremy Doku in the 69th minute from the penalty spot made things 6-0.
It was an entertaining one for the home fans who kept seeing their team score for fun while they enjoyed the match.
Another goal from James McAtee in the 72nd minute saw things between both teams further increase to 7-0 with Phil Foden making the assist.
James McAtee rounded things off with his hat trick in the 81st minute which put his side 8-0 ahead with Jack Grealish making the assist.
The match came to an end with Manchester City taking an 8-0 victory against Salford City after 90 minutes of action to qualify for the next round.
