Hearing Into Man City 115 Charges Concluded, Judgement Date CONFIRMED!

The hearing into Manchester City’s 115 Premier League charges has been concluded with judgement set to be delivered, MySportDab reports.

The Premier League champions are facing charges of financial breaches bordering on falsification of accounts, deflation of transfer payments, players’ and coaches’ wages and more.

The club have insisted they are innocent of the allegations and have banked on the services of a renowned football finance lawyer Lord Pannick to argue out their innocence.

Now, according to reports from football correspondent Chris Wheeler, the Independent Commission have completed hearing on the charges with all eyes now fixed on judgement.

The date for judgement has yet to be confirmed. However, initial reports have it that it could be delivered as early as the last week of December 2024 or first week of January 2024.

Manchester City are likely to face punishments ranging from a fine, point deduction, or relegation into the lower tier of English football with Premier League titles won in the affected period confiscated if they are found guilty.

Notably, City are navigating a difficult phase this season along with the plague of the Premier League charges. They have won only one of their last nine matches in all competitions and have been ruled out of the 2024-25 Premier League title race already.

Recently, former Premier League manager with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham taunted the team using the charges following a media fallout with the club’s manager Pep Guardiola.

Mourinho has been just one of the few critics that have held City on the Premier League charges following ill-feelings with Guardiola.

Liverpool former player and Premier League pundit Jamie Carragher had also lashed out at the team on a similar fashion with Guardiola insisting the club is innocent until being proved guilty.

With the hearings concluded, judgement on the saga will literally put an end to the bickering or at best offered the club a breather from the constant criticisms.
