Coco Gauff has made significant strides both on and off the court in so many areas of her life which is still going well.

A notable achievement in her career is her collaboration with New Balance, resulting in her line of signature tennis shoes.

In 2022, Gauff and New Balance introduced her first signature shoe, the Coco CG1 which was still in the early stage.

The model drew inspiration from basketball silhouettes and ’90s aesthetics, featuring a multi-piece upper construction with bold colour blocking.

The shoe was equipped with FuelCell cushioning and Energy Arc technology, providing dynamic responsiveness.

While the Fit Weave Lite woven upper ensured a lightweight yet supportive fit, building on the success of the CG1, New Balance unveiled the Coco CG2 in August 2024.

The updated model reflects Gauff’s personal style and performance needs, incorporating elements from the New Balance 550, one of her preferred styles.

Design enhancements include geometric patterns on the collar, heel, and tongue inspired by Parisian architecture and a triangular-patterned Ndure toe cap for added stability and flexibility.

Suede overlays on the saddle offer a fashion-forward appeal suitable for both on-court and off-court wear.

The CG2 is available in the “Power and Grace” colourway, combining oxidized blue and firefly hues.

The Coco Guaff CG2 is engineered for elite tennis performance. It incorporates Energy Arc technology, featuring a carbon fiber plate within a multi-density FuelCell midsole.

The configuration delivers a propulsive, energy-returning feel, essential for the explosive movements characteristic of Gauff’s playstyle.

The Ndurance rubber outsole ensures durability in high-wear areas, while the Fit Weave Lite upper provides a supportive yet lightweight fit.

The design of the CG2 includes personal touches that reflect Gauff’s journey and aspirations in life as a tennis player.

The number “two” is featured on the shoe, representing femininity, power, and grace, qualities that resonate.

A trophy icon is incorporated into the design, symbolizing her status as a reigning champion and her ambitions for future success.

The Coco CG2 was launched on August 21, 2024, with a retail price of $159.99. It is available through New Balance’s official website and select retailers.

The release was strategically timed ahead of the US Open, aligning with Gauff’s participation in the tournament and her role as a prominent figure in women’s tennis.

She secured a record-breaking $4.8 million. The win propelled her total career prize money beyond $20 million.

A substantial portion of Gauff’s income stems from endorsement deals. In 2024, she earned an estimated $25 million from sponsorships.

She collaborated with prominent brands such as New Balance, Head, Barilla, and Bose which all pay so well.

Gauff’s financial achievements are noteworthy, especially considering her age. In 2024, she was named the highest-paid female athlete, earning $34.4 million over the year.
