Fisayo Dele-Bashiru late goal ensured the Super Eagles of Nigeria claimed a 1-0 victory against Libya in Uyo, MySportDab reports.
The dominance was one sided all through as the Super Eagles did everything possible to maintain more of the ball.
The game had to go down to the final few minutes to play before the winner happened for the Nigerians who saw their efforts paying off at the end of everything.
First Half ReportÂ
It was action all the way with opportunities coming from the Super Eagles who had enough but failed to make them count.
Libya didn’t cause any much of a problem as Stanley Nwabali was on break all through the 45 minutes of action played.
The Nigeria National team were pushing with everything, but they were unable to fix anything together to give them a goal as they carried on.
More opportunities went begging with nothing changing the scoreline which remained goalless hitting the 45 minute played in Uyo.
Libya were able to hold Nigeria to a 0-0 scoreline after 45 minute of action which was played between them for the evening.
Second Half ReportÂ
The game resumed with action coming from both ends which brought on so many changes from the Super Eagles approach.
Libya had some moments of their own which they were able to put some passes together looking for something which did not come.
Nigeria still dominated play with them making opportunities upon opportunities with desperation of making something happen.
The game pushed down to the final stages with Fisayo Dele-Bashiru getting a goal with a wonderful finish in the 86th minute to make things 1-0.
The goal was enough as Nigeria claimed a narrow 1-0 victory against Libya in Uyo after a tough 90 minute which saw them exploring all opportunities possible.
