Monaco smashed Barcelona 2-1 in the Champions League with goals from Maghnes Akliouche and George Ilenikhena, MySportDab reports.
Lamine Yamal once again made it count as he continues to score goals for fun since the beginning of the new season.
Things could have been different for Hansi Flick first Champions League if they didn’t get reduced as that ended up so much that was supposed to come.
First Half ReportÂ
It was a great first half for Barca until they saw themselves reduced by one player after getting sent out very early.
It too Barcelona just 10 minutes to get reduced to 10 players on the pitch after Eric Garcia saw himself getting a straight red card in the encounter.
The match carried on with Monaco taking the lead in the lead in the 16th minutes which came after so much pressure until Maghnes Akliouche made it 1-0.
It was a good one from both teams as Lamine Yamal responded by pulling his side back level with a stunner in the 28th minutes to make things 1-1.
It was an incredible first half which saw Monaco and Barcelona playing a 1-1 draw against each other after 45 minutes of action for the Champions League.
Second Half ReportÂ
It was more drama in the remaining half which saw Barca pushing on with all the disadvantage which saw them struggling.
Monaco kept on knocking and trying to make sure they retook their lead which didn’t come as Hansi Flick already switched tactics.
Barcelona were still on point in the match but couldn’t push to much based on the fact that they were one man less to cover ground.
George Ilenikhena made it count in the 71st minute of the match which saw Vanderson coming through to make the assist as things turned 2-1.
It ended with a loss for Barcelona who saw Monaco made them suffer 2-1 after 90 minutes of action with one man down after just 10 minutes of action played.
