Victor Osimhen transfer updates
Victor Osimhen’s future has yet to be settled but the transfer proceedings is entering crucial stages. According to a latest report by Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen could now join either Chelsea or Al-Ahli.
The two clubs are reportedly in talks with the player right now for a deal. If Chelsea cannot agree personal terms with Osimhen, the player is likely to join Al-Ahli.
Note that Chelsea have two days to wrap up a deal for Osimhen with the transfer window set to close on Friday, August 31, 2024. All fingers are now crossed on how the transfer drama involving the Napoli forward will unfold.
Aaron Ramsdale update
Former Arsenal No.1 goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is reportedly close to joining Southampton. Arsenal are open to Ramsdale exit and have reportedly made plans to sign another goalkeeper if the England shotstopper joins the Saints.
Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling update
Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for Ben Chilwell. However, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed United are not in talks or negotiations with the players’ camp for a deal.
Another out-of-favor Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling has also been linked to United but nothing is going on for now between the two parties.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are hopeful of offloading the two players this summer after they fell out of new manager Enzo Maresca’s squad plan.
Other transfer report
We reported earlier that Liverpool have signed Federico Chiesa from Juventus after the latter fell off the pecking border in Turin under new manager Thiago Motta.
Also, Arsenal attacking midfielder Eddie Nketiah has completed a move away from the club to Crystal Palace.
