Things aren’t looking safe right now for Argentina player who have been threatened by some gunmen.
This won’t be the first time Di Maria have been subject to attacks and threats being made at him during his career.
The football player is currently on holiday after completing the season with Benfica in Portugal where he plays for now.
There have been reports of him looking to make a move back to Argentina where he started out his playing career.
However there is so much unrest as he is being targeted by some unknown gunmen who left something to say.
According to Transfer News Live, they confirmed the whole things that took place in Rosario, Argentina concerning the player.

“Gun men shot at a service station in Rosario, Argentina and left a threatening note to Ángel Di María.
“They wrote “We are waiting for you, Di María.”
There is expected to be heavy security placed on the player and his family to avoid any issues with the latest attack.
Angel Di Maria haven’t come out to address the situation but he is safe alongside his family who all are under heavy protection.
