FT: Aston Villa 2-2 Chelsea, VAR Deny Blues WINNER! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

VAR denied Chelsea a victory as they came from behind to play a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

The Blues gave a good account of themselves with VAR chopping off two of their goals scored in the encounter.

It was another game which could have worked out so well but the decisions from VAR made sure everything remained in a draw.

They came in strong making a lot happen from kickoff which the home side did more and saw more of the ball moving forward.

It took Aston Villa 4 minutes to score the opening goal which came from an own-goal from Cucurella which could have easily been avoided as things turned 1-0.

Chelsea couldn’t get themselves back into the match which carried on with a lot more as Nicolas Jackson scored but unfortunately VAR chopped off the goal.

The match carried on with a stunner from Rogers who made things 2-0 from a wonderful finish which was assisted by Matty Cash as they continued.

Aston Villa headed for the break with a comfortable 2-0 lead against Chelsea who were unlucky to see themselves go behind twice despite all their efforts.

They came into the second half with a lot of promises which saw Noni Madueke wonderful finish in the 63rd minutes made things 2-1 between them.

Chelsea gained more confidence as they continued pressing hard before Conor Gallagher outside strike saw things going level 2-2 in the 81st minutes with assist from Madueke.

Aston Villa were stunned as they continued everything possible to make sure they did not concede more as the pressure was all on them.

Chelsea scored in the additional time through Axel Disasi header but it wasn’t meant to be as VAR canceled it for a foul which spared Aston Villa as both teams played a 2-2 draw.
