Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed injury updates on Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Rasmus Hojlund, MySportDab reports.

Speaking ahead of Man United’s FA Cup clash with Liverpool, Erik ten Hag confirmed the trio are back to the turf after their injury layoffs.

“We had a good week. The players you mentioned (Hojlund, Maguire, and Wan-Bissaka) returned on the pitch, partly at the start of the week and today they had a session and are all training. I think [they will be fit to play]. Tomorrow we have one session. We have to see how they recover from this but it looks good,” ten Hag said.

Just like their FA Cup quarterfinal opponents Liverpool, United have struggled with a grinding injury crisis with 47 injury incidents recorded, as per Goal.

This season, only three outfield Man United players – Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, and Diogo Dalot – have not tasted injury.

Meanwhile, the return of the trio will be a big boost to the team, whose only hope of silverware this season is in the FA Cup.

However, it is still unclear what minutes of action they could ace in their first match after returning with the team desperately in need of the services of the trio.

Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will return to the center-back and right-back role, respectively while Rasmus Hojlund will take over his center-attacking berth from Marcus Rashford who has been largely unimpressive on the role and the entirety of the season so far.

Hojlund etched his name into Premier League history books, becoming the youngest Premier League player to score in six successive Premier League games for Manchester United before the injury

Since breaking his goal duck, the Danish sensation was on a prolific goalscoring run and will be hoping to pick up from where he stopped as he returns from the sidelines.

United will be hoping to ace out Liverpool in the cracker at Old Trafford on Sunday for a place in the last four of the competition.
