Bayer Leverkusen have continued on their unbeaten run this season with a dramatic late victory over Hoffenheim at Bay Arena, MySportDab reports.

The Die Werkself were expected to see off visitors easily but it turned out another difficult encounter for the hosts.

Beier had put the away side ahead three minutes after the half-hour and the goal was enough to have the high-flying Xabi Alonso’s boys trail at the break.

Despite having a commanding control of proceedings, it was still a deadlock for the hosts in the visitors’ area.

The second half nearly ended barren as well as Hoffenheim held their nerves to preserve the narrow 1-0 lead.

Bayer Leverkusen came upon a series of chances to level the score but could not find a breakthrough until the 88th minute when Andrich finally broke the deadlock.

Before Andrich’s goal, Bayer Leverkusen would have gotten a chance to nail home the equaliser early in the 77th minute after a penalty call but the decision was it was ruled out after a VAR check.

Hoffenheim stayed put in the game with their resolute defending before Andrich finally got the breakthrough to level the score.

Three minutes after Andrich’s goal, Bayer Leverkusen completed the comeback through Schick’s stoppage-time goal to make it 2-1.

The victory has seen Bayer Leverkusen extend the lead on top of the Bundesliga table to 13 points above Bayern Munich who have a game in hand.
