PSG star Kylian Mbappe will leave PSG at the end of the season to join Real Madrid, MySportDab reports.

Mbappe, 25, has been a hot transfer topic in the rumor mills in the just-concluded January transfer window. With six months left on his contract, he was free into contract talks with other clubs as he refused to renew his PSG contract.

Liverpool were among top clubs linked to Kylian Mbappe. The Reds were reportedly set to enter the race for Mbappe as a replacement for Saudi-bound Mohamed Salah.

Real Madrid were also in the picture but intentionally kept their push for the player low-key since he is still under contract with PSG.

Nevertheless, the club were reportedly forced to issue a January ultimatum to Mbappe to reach a pre-contract agreement with the club amidst a report linking him to a switch to the Premier League.

Mbappe issued a statement denouncing rumors he has agreed to a deal with any club and added he cannot be pressed to decide on his future.

The French prolific striker also added he will make a decision on his PSG future in due time but is now focusing on the remaining months of his contract.

Now, a report by EPSN journalist Julien Laurens has revealed Kylian Mbappe has finally decided on his PSG future. The report adds that Mbappe has decided to leave PSG at the end of the season to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Julien Laurens said;

“Kylian Mbappe has decided to leave PSG at the end of the season to join Real Madrid!! The information was first revealed by Le Parisien earlier and is now confirmed. At 25, he feels it is the right time take his career to new dimension.”

Mbappe joined PSG on loan from Monaco in 2018 as a loanee with a buy option of €180million.

Following an impressive loan shift at the French Capital, he was signed permanently with the €180m buy option triggered.

The deal made him the most expensive French player as well as the most expensive Ligue 1 transfer in history.

He has scored 183 league goals in 195 appearances for the club, winning all possible domestic trophies, and several individual awards.
