West Ham United have unveiled new signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City, MySportDab reports.

The Hammers have recruited another player adding to their team which already have a number of talents.

Kalvin Phillips move to West Ham United is now official as unveiling was made today by the club.

The player was linked with a number of teams including Juventus who opened talks and were looking like they would sign the deal.

The Serie A sided opted out due to high demands that come with the move happening for them in this January window.

Newcastle United also made their approach which they couldn’t conclude on an agreement as nothing pushed forward.

West Ham were the only side who made sure they stayed on the table for long trying to come to an agreement which was later done.

The Hammers have now made the move official after confirming the signing of Kalvin Phillips on loan from Manchester City this January window.

Here Is What He Said:

“I’m really pleased to be here,” said the Yorkshireman, who will wear the No11 shirt.

“There’s always been a lot of speculation about me moving to West Ham, so I’m really excited to get going now.

“There’s so much to look forward to in the second half of the season for the Club and I can’t wait to be part of it.

“There’s an unbelievable group here and if I can come in and add the quality that I know I’m capable of, I’m sure we can give the West Ham fans plenty to be excited about between now and the end of the season.”

The player is expected to spend the remainder of the 2023/2024 season with the London club before returning back to Manchester City.

The move could also be made permanent for an option of £40 million which wont be explored for now until they see how everything work out.

Kalvin Phillips is now a player with West Ham United where he hope to establish himself once again and revive his career.
