Liverpool move four points clear of the Premier League table after beating Chelsea 4-1, MySportDab reports.

The first half was one-sided as the Reds benefited from everything without allowing their opponent to short aim at Alisson all through.

The encounter was one-sided as The Reds dominated play and made sure they created a massive amount of opportunities.

It was a poor one from the Blues who couldn’t make anything of their play against the home side who bossed them around the pitch.

Liverpool took the lead with a wonderful finish from Diogo Jota who was able to convert neatly to ensure the scoreline became 1-0 in the 23rd minute.

Chelsea were caught napping again as they conceded another goal in the 39th minute which came from youngster Bradley who was able to make it 2-0.

Darwin Nunez was expected to make the scoreline increase but unfortunately, his penalty hit the woodwork in the additional time.

Liverpool were in total control heading into the break with a comfortable 2-0 lead against Chelsea who were having a bad night at Anfield.

The second half was different as Mauricio Pochettino had to make sure he deployed some changes to ensure they were able to do better.

Liverpool increased their lead with a goal scored in the 65th minutes which saw Dominik Szoboszlai finishing off with a header making things 3-0.

Chelsea pulled one goal back through Christopher Nkunku which came in the 71st with a well put through assist from Carney Chukwuemeka which set things 3-1.

Another goal was scored again this time by Luis Daiz in the 79th minute making sure there was nothing left to do with the scoreline already 4-1 between both teams.

Liverpool ended up claiming the victory 4-1 at their home ground against Chelsea meaning they go four points clear while the Blues drop down to 10th position on the table.
