Chelsea are set to hijack Callum Wilson’s move from AC Milan this January window, MySportDab reports.

The player is said to be open to making the move elsewhere which could give him more fighting chance with the national team.

Chelsea have entered the race for Callum Wilson which AC Milan already made their approach to sign the player from Newcastle United.

The Blues are also linked with a loan move for Karim Benzema who is still yet to decide a move away from Saudi Arabia.

The Blues want a number nine so desperately that they are looking at every possibility in this January window.

Meanwhile they are also claims of Armando Broja being sold this January if his asking price of €50 million is met by suitors.

They will also be looking to use the funds raised to sign a striker either this January or wait till the summer window to make the move.

According to reports reaching us from Jacque Talbot, he confirmed the interest of Chelsea on the Newcastle United striker in the January window.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Understand Callum Wilson is admired by Chelsea who are considering meeting Newcastle’s €21 million (ÂŁ18m) asking price for the striker whose contract is up in 2025.

“Chelsea are looking for a guarantee of goals and see Wilson as a viable candidate, not least because he can offer invaluable experience alongside someone like Nicolas Jackson.

The move could be another one that could happen but we wait to see if everything will work out fine as the Blues still need to offload.

AC Milan are said to be holding talk for the striker but things haven’t progressed forward despite them already making an approach.

Callum Wilson move to Chelsea is still not officially confirmed by any of both clubs but the news is already making headlines.
