Ajax have unveiled a new signing Jordan Henderson who recently terminated his contract with the Saudi club, MySportDab reports.

The former Liverpool midfielder complete a move to the Netherlands after a frustrating spell in Saudi Arabia.

Jordan Henderson is now a player with Ajax after putting pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the club for year’s.

The move was one which went through process as Henderson recently signed with his former Saudi club on a long term before deciding to end it.

The player was not in the market as Al Ettifaq didn’t want to allow him leave despite the player making a request to move elsewhere.

He had to reach an agreement with the Saudi Arabia club who decided on terminating his contract which made him a free agent player.

Ajax have fast tracked everything and have officially unveiled Jordon Henderson as their new signing in a short term deal.

Here Is What Was Said:

“We wanted an experienced midfielder with leadership qualities.

“Partially due to injuries in the team, we were looking for someone who could step in immediately.

“Jordan Henderson is that type of player.”

“His arrival means a huge enhancement for our squad.

“Both on and off the pitch, a football player of this calibre is important for our many young players.

“He’s an English international player and has won the Champions League and many other prizes with Liverpool.

“I am happy he’s here, and I think it’s very good for our club that he’s an Ajacied from today onwards.”

The addition to Ajax will go a long way in helping them this season which they have shockingly sink down in the table before their fightback.

Jordan Henderson will be wearing the number 6 and his contact will run for two and half years.
