Nigerian striker and Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen has dropped a transfer teaser on his rumored move to Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

The 24-year-old is strongly linked with a move to Chelsea despite recently signing a new contract extension with Napoli.

On his birthday, Victor Osimhen dropped the transfer teaser on his birthday. A fan had took to his X handle to wish the football sensation a happy birthday while sharing an old pic of him donning a Chelsea shirt, and asking him to come to Chelsea.

Osimhen replied the fan with love and praying emojis. His response has reignited rumors he could be on his way to Chelsea.

Osimhen has not hid his admiration for Chelsea and a possible move to the Premier League. In a Mikel Obi’s podcast, Osimhen revealed he admire Chelsea and Manchester United – the two top Premier League clubs who pushed for a move for him in the last transfer window.

While Manchester United are off the race for the attacking sensation, Chelsea are still linked to the player.

The London outfit are reportedly ready to break the bank and push for a move for Osimhen in January.

We reported earlier Victor Osimhen signed a new contract extension with Napoli to extend his stay with the Serie A champions till 2026.

As part of his new deal, a release clause of £112m has been slammed on him. The release will be active from January. It is still unclear whether Chelsea will cross the £100m mark again to sign Osimhen after spending £100m plus each on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.

Victor Osimhen is currently the most decorated African footballer in 2023. Osimhen won CAF African Footballer of the year, Serie A footballers best player, and 2023 Serie A Golden Boot award.
