NFF Slam FAKE JERSEY Rumors For Nigeria Ahead Of AFCON 2024

The NFF has made an official statement concerning the jersey that has gone viral on social media, MySportDab reports.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are preparing to participate at the 2024 AFCON tournament which begins in January.

The NFF have been drawn to some news concerning a new jersey being lunched for Nigeria national team ahead of the AFCON next year.

The body have had so much to say concerning the situation which to the sound new and unknown to them as of today.

They gave a full statement concerning the new Jersey which have already gone viral on social media since it came out.

The NFF dished out a statement via social media confirming they don’t know about any new Jersey and have distanced themselves from such rumors.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Rumours about a new jersey launch between NIKE and the senior Men’s National team circulating round social media has been brought to our notice.

“We want to inform the general public that this claim is not true.

“At the moment, we have no jersey being launched for the Super Eagles for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to hold in Cote d’Ivoire next month.”

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will look to claim the AFCON title once again as they have been drawn in same group as the host Nation.

Nigeria have won the tournament on three occasions and they will be looking to add another one when the competition begins in January 2024.
