Real Madrid have taken a decision on whether to sign Kylian Mbappe in January, MySportDab reports.

Los Blancos have been on the trail of Kylian Mbappe since 2021 when he ran out his previous contract with PSG.

Mbappe was on the verge of joining Real Madrid in 2021 but made last-minute U-turn to renew his deal with the Ligue 1 giants and stay at the French capital.

In 2024, Kylian Mbappe will be out of PSG contract but there is a one-year extension clause attached to the deal.

However, MySportDab understand Mbappe is not ready to renew his current deal with PSG neither is he interested in triggering the one-year extension clause.

This means Kylian Mbappe will be eligible to enter into pre-contract talks with other clubs in January with Real Madrid as his target next stop.

According to report from Marca, Real Madrid are not interested in signing any player in January, including Kylian Mbappe.

The European and La Liga giants recently release a statement debunking reports they have entered into talks with Kylian Mbappe to sign the player in January.

While Kylian Mbappe will be free to enter into contract talks with clubs in January, Real Madrid have washed off their hands from a possible January move for the player.

The Los Blancos are hoping to wade into Kylian Mbappe move fully next summer when he must have run out of his PSG contract.

The 14-time Champions of Europe still have their number 9 shirt vacant with suggestions they will be hoping to have Kylian Mbappe fill the void.

Recall Kylian Mbappe fell out with PSG in the summer as he refused to renew his contract and attempted to push through a free exit from the French capital.

He was suspended from the squad following the fallout but was later reinstated with PSG making subsequent moves to renew his deal all to no avail.
