Gavi torn his ACL during Spain final 2024 Euro Qualifiers match against Georgia. Barcelona confirmed the injury blow in a press statement and added he will undergo surgery.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Gavi could be out for 8-9 months following the injury literally ruling him out of the rest of the season for the club.

Gavi’s injury is a big blow to Barcelona and the club were reportedly fuming on the decision of Spain national team manager Luis de La Fuente to field the youngster for a full 90 minutes action against Georgia when he had started the match against Cyprus.
