Arsenal unbeaten Premier League start has finally ended, MySportDab reports.

The Gunners stumbled to a defeat to Newcastle United at St James Park no thanks to Anthony Gordon’s second half strike.

Both sides went into the game on the back a flying start to the campaign with Arsenal untainted 10-match unbeaten run.

Newcastle United did not have the best odf campaigns going into the game but were actually a force to be reckoned with after they dispatched Manchester United at Old Trafford in EFL Cup.

Against the Gunners, Eddie Howe fired the Magpies into a deserved win with a clinical ball play and remarkable performance.

Arsenal started the game on a good note but it was still a tightly-contested affair between the two sides as Newcastle United matched the visitors with their pacey and speedy counter attacks.

No clearcut chances were created by both sides early in the game but Arsenal recorded more attempts and were more threatening when launching attacks.

The first half ended with both sides unable to break the goal deadlock.

Newcastle ramped up their attack in the second half and finally got the better of Arsenal in the 64th minute thanks to Anthony Gordon’s strike.

The goal was enough to steer the Magpies to a narrow victory over Arsenal as the Gunners battled effortlessly to level the scores.

The game finally ended with Newcastle United winning by the lone goal climb to 6th position on the table with 22 points while Arsenal retain 3rd spot with 24 points from 11 games.
