Manchester United’s dismal campaign has continued as they slumped yet again to another home defeat in two consecutive matches, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils must have hoped to return to winning ways after a home league defeat to cross-city rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford but it turned out to be another nightmare at the Theatre of Dreams.

Looking more hungrier for a win and a revenge for last season’s final loss to the Red Devils, the Magpies came up clutch against the struggling United side and did justice to the game with a big win to book a ticket to the round 8 of the competition.
United looked more toothless on the attack and were ripped apart by Newcastle United’s superior attacking flair.
Within an interval of 8 minutes in the first half, Newcastle United cemented their dominance in with a quickfire double that turned the game against the hosts.
Almiron opened the scoring for the away side in the 26th minute before Lewis Hall doubled the lead 8 minutes later to make it 2-0 before the first half break.
Manchester United struggled to create chances going forward with a more improved display in the second half but could not unsettled Newcastle’s backline.
They also squandered some few chances and were obviously heading towards a second consecutive home defeat.
In the 60th minute, Newcastle United sealed the win with their third strike thanks to Willock’s goal.
United rolled up their sleeves and attempted to stage a response with a more intense effort but were tamed by the visitors.
The game ended with Newcastle United inflicting a heavy 3-0 defeat on Manchester United to bundle them out of the EFL Cup – a trophy they lost last season losing to the same opponent in the fin at Wembley.
