Alaves continued to fight the hosts to a standstill with the score standing at 1-1 as they pulled themselves together to at least come out with a point from the game.
In the 78th minute, Robert Lewandowski struck again via penalty spot to complete a turnaround for Barcelona while bagging his brace.
Alaves did little to mount a response after losing their lead and trailing 2-1. The game finally ended with Barcelona salvaging all three points after the final whistle.
