In 2011, she was noticed by the strike force, and she signed a contract with them, one of the US MMA promotions.

However, this helped her win the Women’s Bantamweight Championship twice and defended it twice before the UFC acquired the promotion in 2013.

She was also recorded as the best female fighter in the Women’s Bantamweight Championship in 2013.

Tate was set to face Amanda Nunes in the Women’s Bantamweight in 2016, but Amanda defeated her, although she is still rated as the best.

She is also known to be one of the pioneers of the Women’s MMA, and she has been ranked best because of her toughness and skills.

Tate 2016 announced that she was retiring from the sport after she lost to her opponent, Raquel Pennington.

However,  aside from being a Bantamweight Champion,  she also works as a sports commentator and has also worked in different charity organizations.

In 2022, she also contested in the Celebrity Big Brother house and became the winner.

Miesha Tate is rumoured to be dating the heavyweight champion Francis Zavier Ngannou.

Francis Ngannou is a Cameroonian-french martial artist born and raised in Batié, Cameroon.

However, due to his poor background, he was not opportune to have a proper formal education while growing up, but he completed high school.

Ngannou grew up with his aunt after his parents divorced when he was just 6 years old, and he had to face the challenge of life at a very tender age.

When he was 10, he started working at the sand quarry in Batié to raise money for his daily needs.

He later decided to use his father’s negative reputation as a street fighter to earn a living.

However,  he decided to chase boxing as his career, and he developed an interest in it and started practising.

In 2018, she gave birth to their first child, Amaia Nevaeh Nuñez, born on June 4, 2018, and on June 14 2020, she gave birth to Daxton Wylder Nuñe.

Dax’s birth was not as smooth as Amaia’s, as she gave to him in the bathroom right inside her home in Singapore.

However, in April 2022, after meeting with Ngannou at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, she started sharing photos of her kids and Ngannou.
