The UEFA Women’s Champions League group stages draw have been concluded today, MySportDab reports.

Last season finalist won’t be taking part in the group stages after getting themselves knocked out in the qualifications series.

Barcelona Women will be looking to defend their title won last season against Wolfsburg who won’t be playing any hand this campaign.

Chelsea is the only team from England who will be playing the UEFA Women’s Champions League this season after sealing automatic qualification.

This season surprise is Paris FC who knocked out semifinalist Arsenal in a convincing manner.

They went on to also stun finalist Wolfsburg whom they eased through without having to do too much of a nasty job at the end.

Spain have two representatives in Real Madrid and Barcelona which is the second highest from any League in the competition this season.

Same can be said for the German League which Frankfurt and Bayern Munich will be taking part this season.

Lyon are also another side who have won the competition more than any team since it was inaugurated into existence.

Chelsea will be looking to overcome their previous performance which saw them missing out after losing to Barcelona.

France have the most team this season which include Lyon, Paris FC and Paris Saint Germain all representing.

Table of Contents

Group A

Barcelona

Rosengard

Benfica

Frankfurt

This group look very dicey as anything could happen knowing how much they passed through before making this stage.

It won’t be easy for any team regardless of their ranking and quality of players they have on parade this season.

Group B

Lyon

Slavia Prague

ST. Polten

SK Brann

Lyon will be looking forward to this one after finding themselves in this group which they are expected to scale through.

It won’t be as easy but after the first round of games, we should be able to know how things will go down for the remaining.

Group C

Bayern Munich

Paris Saint Germain

Roma

Ajax

A good competition will be coming from this group and getting the top two won’t be that easy based on their performance.

They all have already shown that they could score goals since the beginning of the season which enough has happened for them.

Group D

Chelsea

Real Madrid

BK Hacken

Paris FC

If there is any team that can make it out of this group, it should be Chelsea who have always been the bigger side amongst them.

Others will have to fight their way through or we could witness another shocker that could see the unexpected happen from the group.
