According to reports, Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be handed all football and sporting operations at Manchester United when his bid is ratified.
His first plan at the club as disclosed exclusively by The Times is to expand and renovate Old Trafford.

As reported by The Times, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is ready to set aside a huge sum of money to renovate the stadium and also expand its capacity.
Old Trafford is among the biggest stadiums in England but Jim Ratcliffe reportedly wants to expand it by 15,000 more seats to 90,000 when his bid is ratified.
Also, Ratcliffe will also oversee all sporting and football activities, including funding transfer activities and recruitment of playing staff.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s bid will be ratified on Thursday, October 19, 2023 in a meeting of Manchester United board members.
