Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali have officially been hit with a ban on his football career, MySportDab reports.
The ban has been one coming for a while as investigation was going on to confirm how long the ban will last.
Sandro Tonali now know his fate after the decision was made to hammer him a ban from playing active football.
The ban is expected to come as a major blow to so many things already in place for the Italy midfielder both in club and international career.
The player is currently playing for Newcastle United who spend a huge amount to lure him away from AC Milan this summer window.
The Premier League side have shown their support for the player after admiting to have issues with betting and gambling.
The player won’t be going free as others who were involved in the same event whom are already facing their ban.
According to report reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the player have been officially banned from playing active football.

“Sandro Tonali has been banned for 10 month due to gambling addition scandal plus also 8 months of participation in gambling rehab plan.
“Tonali, suspended for 10 months from football activities — back August 2024.
“Season over with Newcastle United and also NO Euro2024.
The player will immediately be sent away from Newcastle United camp as he will be undergoing a lot which wont see him play football.
Sandro Tonali career will take a break just like other and he will make his return in 2024 after serving the duration of his ban.
