A new update on Manchester United takeover has emerged, MySportDab reports.

The Glazers have since put the club up for sale since November 2022 but nothing has happened since then.

United fans have been growingly impatient about the takeover process as the Glazers continue on the reins since they announced their sale decision.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim are still the two leading contenders to buy Manchester United and both have different proposals on the table.

Sheikh Jassim want a full takeover while Jim Ratcliffe want a partial ownership that will still allow the Glazers to keep a stake of ownership of the club.

The two bidders have been also affected by the delay in the sale process which has dragged on after multiple proposals.

Now, according to report from The Mirror, the Glazers are still hopeful of selling Manchester United but doesn’t want a partial ownership plan as put forward by Sir Jim Ratcliffe

They reportedly favor Sheikh Jassim’s full takeover bid and are ready to sell the club to the Qatari investors.

The move will be welcomed by Manchester United fans who are asking the Glazers to leave the club totally without retaining any stake of ownership.

The report from The Mirror further reveal Manchester United sale process could be completed soon but negotiations between the parties involved is still on.

Elsewhere, Manchester United legend, David Beckham, has debunked reports he is ready to return to the club as an official if Sheikh Jassim emerges as new owner.
