FT: Nigeria 3-2 Mozambique, Super Eagles Claim WIN! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were unstoppable as they beat Mozambique 2-3 in a friendly match, MySportDab reports.

The Mozambicans played some part of the game with one man down when they were already behind in the match which didn’t work out for them.

The Super Eagles were already cruising in the first half which they were a bit off the ball as their opponent were equally fighting to make things theirs.

Match Report

The first half was good from both ends who had something to celebrate in the 45 minutes which saw four goals being scored.

Mozambique took an early lead in the 6th minutes with a beautiful goal scored by Catamo making the scoreline 1-0 between both teams.

Nigeria had to fight hard before Terem Moffi scored the leveler in the 19th minutes from a cleverly placed finish beating the goalkeeper 1-1.

Another goal followed in the 30th minutes which was another beauty which saw Frank Onyeka with a beautiful long range strike which ensured things become 1-2.

A red card was awarded to Edmilson in the 38th minutes after pulling back a player from scoring which resulted to him getting sent out of the match.

Moses Simon scored from the penalty spot in the 48th minutes which saw Nigeria taking a 1-3 lead into the break against Mozambique.

They came into the second half much better mostly for the side who had all the disadvantage but were able to put everything together.

Mozambique were good enough in the second half which saw them getting one goal back to make things 2-3 in the 55th minutes which was scored by Bangal.

Nigeria couldn’t manage anything more as they had to settled for the 2-3 victory putting an end to their winless run in friendly games since 2021 which was the last time they won a match.
