Arsenal have continued in their unbeaten start to the season as they saw off Everton to clinch all three points at Goodison Park, MySportDab reports.

Arsenal went into the game, with three wins and a draw before the international break and were the favorites to win the game.

Everton had a poor and underwhelming start to the season and were down the bottom four of the table after four matches.

Despite a poor run in the buildup the the game, the Toffees gave Arsenal a tough fight from the first half.

The Sean Dyche-led team frustrated the Gunners, pulling a strong defensive display to stop the visitors, who were ramping up their attack to take the lead.

The high-flying London club dominated proceedings but could break the goal deadlock with the first half far spent.

Everton depended on counter attacks to unsettle Arsenal defense but both could not find the back of the net throughout the first half.

In the second half, Arsenal picked the game where they stopped, trying to find an opening goal.

Everton fell back in their large numbers to keep the Gunners’ attack at bare but were finally overwhelmed in the 69th minute.

After a marathon of pressure, Arsenal took the deserved lead courtesy of a goal from Leandro Trossard, assisted by prolific winger, Bukayo Saka.

Despite taking the lead, Arsenal still stayed atop proceedings going forward and wielding over 70% of the ball possession.

The visitors came across series of chances to double the lead but failed to convert them with few minutes left to regulation time.
