Arsenal have received a massive injury boost as they set out for three run of fixtures in the next seven days, MySportDab reports.

Leading the list of Arsenal’s injury boost is England midfielder Declan Rice, who has been key to Arsenal squad so far.

There were fears Declan Rice could be set for a long spell on the sidelines after coming off with a back injury in the North London derby.

The discomfort to the former West Ham star worsened overnight despite playing for only 45 minutes in the game with reports emerging his movement had to be restricted.

Now, it has been confirmed Declan Rice has undergone medical examination on his back injury on Monday.

Sources close to the club have revealed Arsenal medics are increasingly confident of his imminent return but he will miss a number of games.

Arsenal will play Brentford in midweek EFL Cup clash before taking Bournemouth on Saturday.

Declan Rice will reportedly miss the two games but will make Arsenal squad in next week’s Champions League clash against Ligue 1 side Lens.

It is still unknown whether he will start against Lens but there is optimism he will not the crunch Premier League tie against Manchester City next week.

Also, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli are set to return from hamstring injuries before the match against Manchester City next week with Trossard reportedly ready to return earlier in the weekend.

Thomas Partey is also progressing towards an imminent return from his groin injury, including Jurrien Timber, who is also recovering slowly.

Arsenal will tackle Brentford in midweek EFL Cup match before taking on Bournemouth in the Premier League on the weekend.

They will then travel to France to face Champions League debutants Lens next week before taking on Manchester City in the Premier League.
