Manchester United striker Anthony Martial was spotten leaving the training ground just four minutes after arriving on Thursday, MySportDab reports.
The Frenchman got into the gates of United’s Carrington base in his Mercedes G Wagon at 8.55am but left again at 8.59am.
According to reports, Martial was due to train with some United players in the afternoon and not in the morning.
Training times vary, players on Monday arrive at 12.30pm but on Tuesday, 9am. On Thursday, players arrived 11.30am.
Erik ten Hag is now focused on Saturday’s Premier League return against Brighton at Old Trafford.
Martial started United’s last two matches against Nottingham Forest and Arsenal before the international break.
In the Arsenal match, Martial was replaced by summer signing Rasmus Hojlund, who is likely to become the first choice striker.
Ten Hag’s team must now return to winning ways after their second defeat in four matches two weeks ago.
Despite wins over Wolves and Forest, fans have not been impressed with the performance so far this season.
Martial was one player United were ready to sell this summer but he ended up not leaving.
He is expected to become second choice this season but given the number of competitions, he could still play regularly.
Martial scored only nine goals in 29 game for United last season.
