Vinicius Junior scored a brace as Real Madrid smashed 10-man Elche 1-2 to move top of the Laliga Santander table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A beautiful first half from Real Madrid who were good in all their dealing but could only manage just one goal after 45 minutes of football.
Elche survived the first 20 minutes of the game without conceding a goal as they made sure their defending was solid against Los Blancos.
It took until the 22nd minute of the first half before Vinicius Junior scored the opening goal which came as a result of good teamwork with Mariano Diaz making the assist that made the scoreline 0-1.
Things continued with both teams giving a good account of themselves as the encounter progressed further in the first half which was looking evenly balanced and matched.
The first half of the encounter ended with Real Madrid heading into the break with a slim 0-1 advantage against Elche after a good 45 minutes coming from both ends.
Second Half Report
The second half kickoff with Elche continuing with the fight in the encounter which was looking a bit better than the first 45 minutes of the match.
Real Madrid were okay at the back as they still continued the match pushing forward for more goals so they can kill off the game with more time to spare.
Raul Guti made things worst for his side as he was shown a second yellow card in the 64th minute of the game which saw them being reduced to 10-man as the match carried on.
Vinicius Junior increased the lead in the 73rd minute of the game which made things 0-2 for the visitors who were exceptional in the buildup until the final finishing.
The match progressed further with Pere Milla pulling one back for the home side in the 86th minute of the game which saw the scoreline turned 1-2 with more opportunities created.
The game finally came to an end with Real Madrid escaping with a 1-2 victory against 10-man Elche to move top of the League table for the main time.
