USA settled for second place finish after playing a 0-0 draw against Portugal at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, MySportDab reports.
The United States Women did everything possible but couldn’t make anything happen against their opponent who was equal to the task.
For the Portuguese Women, it was game over as they couldn’t do more to help their situation despite all their efforts on goal.

The match was one which favored the United States more on getting to kickoff which turned out to be a different match entirely.
Portugal had their fair share of control and bossing of play but couldn’t put any of their opportunities to good use as the game pushed on.
The USA team were also the same unable to make use of their given opportunities despite coming close on more than one occasion.
It was just one opportunities to another with nothing breaking them aside from each other after 45 minutes of football played.
The game was more of the same with so much happening and nothing could make the difference in the match which was moving fast.
Things became cagey between the Portugal Vs USA match but still there was nothing serious aside opportunities gone to waste with nothing productive.
They did everything in their power but at the end it was 0-0 which saw the United States moving on to the next round and Portugal crashing out at the end.
