FIFAWWC: Japan 3-1 Norway, Miyazawa Strikes AGAIN! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Japan advanced into the quarterfinals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup after beating Norway 3-1, MySportDab reports.

The match was evenly matched between both teams who pushed with everything they had to offer going forward all through the 90 minutes.

Hinata Miyazawa adds to her goal tally for the competition after scoring yet another goal to maintain her position in the number one position.

Match Report

Both teams came in with a good start in the encounter which was perfect enough to see them holding each other in the early minutes.

The game was balanced until an own-goal from Ingrid Syrstad Engen in the 15th minute of the match made things 1-0 for Japan.

Norway had their moment until Chelsea Women’s player Guro Reiten scored a shocker to make the scoreline level 1-1 in the 20th minute of the encounter.

They both enjoyed an amount of possession in the first half which saw them unable to make anything count despite the opportunities they had going forward.

Japan held on to a 1-1 scoreline against Norway as they both headed inside for the break unable to make anything more come to play between them.

There was a lot more witnessed in the second half which the pressure switched sides to stay on one team who ended up with nothing.

Risa Shimizu scored in the 50th minutes of the match which saw things taking pace for Japan who had the lead 2-1 from another goal in the encounter.

Norway couldn’t make anything happen in the match as they continued to press and push with hopes of making something happen but failed.

Hinata Miyazawa sealed things off with a ground breaking goal in the 81st minutes which increased the scoreline further 3-1 between them.

Japan were done and dusted as they advance into the quarterfinals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup beating Norway 3-1 after the end of 90 minutes.
