PSG have reinstated Kylian Mbappe int PSG first team, MySportDab reports.

The reinstatement of Kylian Mbappe back to the squad has ended a dragging contract standoff between the player and PSG.

PSG and Kylian Mbappe dominated transfer headlines as they took their contract renewal clash to new levels.

Mbappe refused to renew his PSG contract while PSG refused his plan to leave on a free transfer next summer, putting him on the transfer market for sale.

At the height of the faceoff,  PSG dropped Kylian Mbappe from the club’s preseason tour and also delisted him from the club’s first team.

He was asked to train in isolation with other players, who have been axed from the club’s project.

However, in a shock move by PSG, the club have confirmed Kylian Mbappe has been reinstated back to the squad and will train with the club’s first team.

A club statement annoucing PSG decision to bring back Mbappe to the squad reads;

“Following very constructive and positive discussions between the club and Kylian Mbappe before the game Vs Lorient, the player has been reinstated into the first team training squad this morning,”

The decision to reinstate Mbappe has finally brought to an end a dragging contract standoff between the two parties.

However, Kylian Mbappe’s future at the club is far from being settled as details of what PSG discussed with him is yet to be revealed.

As things stand, it is still unclear whether he will still leave on a free transfer next summer or be sold this season but he his back to PSG first team and will feature for the club in subsequent Ligue 1 matches.
