Riyad Mahrez Reach Agreement With Al Ahli

Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez has reached an agreement with Saudi club Al Ahli to join the club this summer, MySportDab reports.

The Algerian winger has struggled for game time of recent under Pep Guardiola and is eyeing a move away from the club.

 

He still has two years remaining in bjz Manchester City contract but it is understood lack of game time has prompted the deadly winger to seek for greener pastures elsewhere.

According to reports, Riyad Mahrez has agreed personal terms with Al Ahli and is ready to complete a move to the Saudi club, who have just gained promotion to the Saudi elite division.

Saudi outlet, Arriyadiyah says Mahrez agreed to all terms of agreement with Al Ahli and will be waiting for Manchester City to give the nod for the move to happen.

Al Ahli are reportedly offering him a two-year contract with £43million annual salary.

Mahrez has made 236 appearances for Manchester City, scoring 78 goals since joining the club from Leicester City.

Last season, he struggled for a place in Manchester City squad and was benched for most of the season.

In the Champions League final clash against Inter Milan, Riyad Mahrez was an unused substitute, axed of the club’s starting lineup.

Al Ahli are ready to provide a lifeline to arrest Riyad Mahrez’s career misfortunes but must talk Manchester City through for a deal.

According to reports, Al Ahli are ready to offer Manchester City £30million for Riyad Mahrez to secure the services of the player.

Should the deal go through, Riyad Mahrez will be the second top Premier League player after former Chelsea star Edouard Mendy completed a move to the club this summer.
