PSG Submit Rival Bid For Man United Target Rasmus Hojlund! [Details]

PSG have submitted their first offer for Manchester United target, Rasmus Hojlund, MySportDab reports.

The French Ligue giants are set to contest with Manchester United for the signatory of Rasmus Hojlund, who impressed with Atalanta last season attracting the attention of top clubs in Europe.

According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG have tabled their first bid for Rasmus Hojlund worth €50m.

The bid is expected to be turned down by Atalanta who want nothing less than €70m for Hojlund.

PSG bid is coming amid a strong interest by Manchester United who are are keenly in the race to sign Rasmus Hojlund for a top nine role next season and have tabled a €60m bid to Atalanta for the player.

Despite PSG’s offer for Hojlund, MySportDab understand the Danish striker is more keen on a move to Manchester United than PSG.

Holjund has reportedly told his agents to pay more attention to offers coming from Manchester United and is ready to join the club when an agreement is reached with Atalanta.

As things stand, United are still in pole position to land a deal with Atalanta for Rasmus Hojlund after their €60m bid for the player but they are now in a bidding war with PSG for Hojlund.

Manchester United need a striker to partner with Marcus Rashford next season as a top nine as the club prepare for the upcoming season with Rasmus Hojlund emerging as a good alternative after the fallout on Harry Kane move.

Hojlund has been likened to Haaland with his pace, positioning and goal-scoring abilities.

He had 9 goals and 2 assists in 32 Bundesliga games for Atalanta last season and has been tipped as one of the most promising young strikers in Europe.
