Manchester United have verbally increased their offer for Andre Onana as they press on to sign the Cameroonian goalkeeper this summer, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils are chasing a deal for Andre Onana after David De Gea ran out of contract with the club following differences over wage offer in new contract proposal.

Inter Milan are ready to sell Andre Onana this summer in a major boost to the interest by Manchester United but the 2023 Champions League runners-up want nothing less than €60m for the player.

The report adds Manchester United are still in talks and negotiations with Inter Milan to sign Onana with the Serie A giants still holding on for €60m.

As things stand, the two clubs are more likely to reach an agreement on a transfer fee for Onana as the discussion and negotiations continue.

Should Manchester United agree a deal to sign Onana, the former Ajax goalie will be set for a reunion with Erik Ten Hag

Ten Hag worked with Andre Onana when he was Ajax manager and is said to be main man pushing for the deal to be done due to his trust of Onana’s style and tactics on goal.

Onana will replace David De Gea as Manchester United new goalkeeper if the club cannot broker a deal with the Man United legend.

De Gea is out of contract at Manchester United but the club have confirmed doors of renewal talks is still open between both parties.

Manchester United are offering a reduced wage offer for David De Gea to renew his contract but it appears the Spaniard is not ready to assent to the offer after his previously signed contract was withdrawn by the club.

He is linked to a move to Saudi Arabia with reports Al Nassr are lining up a weekly wage offer of £250,000 to sign him as a free agent.
