Valverde hit a quickfire brace as Real Madrid pulled a dramatic comeback win over AC Milan in the Soccer Champions tour in the US, MySportDab reports.

FIrst Half Report

It was a dramatic first half clash between the two European giants as they lock horns in Soccer Champions tour in the US.

The two teams seemed to down tools dropping some of their best legs on the bench in the first half but it was still an exciting encounter.

Real Madrid ruled the game from the start with more dominant display completing more passes, maintaining a good press but could not land the first punch.

AC Milan were dominated on ball possession, managing just less than 30% of the ball possession but they maintained a good press and attack.

Against the run of play, the Serie A giants landed the first punch of the game with Fikayo Tomori, giving the club the lead in the 26th minutes before Romero doubled the lead in the 42nd minutes.

Real Madrid ramped up attempts to pull a first-half come-back but ended up firing all their five attempts off target.

The first half ended with AC Milan taking a shock 2-0 lead.

Second Half Report 

In the second half, Carlo Ancelotti made a series of substitutions bringing first team stars that twisted the course of the game.

Ancelotti made 8 straight substitutions in the 46th minute bringing in the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rudiger, Carvaja, Alaba, Modric, and other top players.

Few minutes after the substitutions, Valverde hit a quick-fire double in the 58th and 59th to level the scores in a flash.

AC Milan also brought in Theo Hernandez, Giroud, and Raphael Leao but Real Madrid were way ahead in the game.

Vinicius Jr scored a late 86th minute strike to complete the dramatic comeback as Real Madrid ran out with a 3-2 win after the final whistle.
