Nigeria Announce 23-Man List For AFCON Qualifiers In June 2023

Nigeria Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro have announced a 23-Man list ahead of the AFCON qualifiers games, MySportDab reports.

The National team will be taking part in another round of games as they look to book AFCON qualifications.

Victor Osimhen lead the list of players announced today by the coach who will be hoping to seal progression.

There are some names missing on the list as Etebo continue to remain out of the invited players once again.

Meanwhile, Maduka Okoye and Francis Uzoho are another names who didn’t make the list this time with Jose Peseiro.

Nigeria will take on Sierra Leone in their next game which could determine if they will progress as group winners.

The Super Eagles will play on the 18th of June against third placed team Sierra Leone whom they played 2-1 in Nigeria.

Nigeria currently occupy the number one position with nine points from four games played so far.

A win against Sierra Leone will get the job done knowing Guinea-Bissau also claim a victory in their match to keep them second on the group.
