Ilkay Gundogan scored a brace as Manchester City outclassed Manchester United 2-1 to win the FA Cup title, MySportDab reports.
Pep Guardiola made it a domestic double for the season after making sure they came out victorious at the Wembley Stadium.
First Half Report
The first half was incredible coming from both teams who had something good coming in the game for them in terms of goal.
Manchester City wasted no time as Ilkay Gundogan scored in the 1st minute of the game from an outstanding finish which was able to make it 1-0 for the Blues which was outstanding.
The game continued with a lot happening from both ends of the pitch but nothing could change the scoreline as they advance pushing with everything possible with Manchester United doing more.
Bruno Fernandes leveled the scoreline from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute after a handball from Jack Grealish which was able to make the encounter come back to level 1-1.
The goal was the last action of the first half of the game which saw Manchester City and Manchester United playing a 1-1 draw after 45 minutes of football between them for the Final.
Second Half Report
The second half started well with both teams coming in strong knowing the scoreline was balanced and they needed to make something good come to play for them.
The game carried on with Manchester United doing enough to stay in the match and take the lead which didn’t come for them despite how close they came.
Manchester City reclaimed their lead in the 51st minute of the game from yet another outstanding finish from Germany who made it 2-1 and a brace for himself.
Nothing else was seen in the match as they both continued doing a lot to make sure they had something good which they didn’t see make happen going forward.
Manchester City ended the match with the 2-1 victory against Manchester United giving them the title after 90 minutes which made it a domestic double for the League Champions.
